Playing at Williston Northampton School definitely helped to get this young man the deal of his dreams. CFC100 Xavier Thibault, a 6’5, 232lb defensive end from Quebec, announced his verbal commitment to Columbia University yesturday via social media.
Thibault, a previous Séminaire Saint-François Blizzard product, moved to the States last season where he registered 44 solos, 7 tackles for loss, 7 QB sacks, 1 fumble recovery, and 3 pass breakups. In 2015, he was awarded Lineman of the Year, RSEQ Juvénile division 1 all-league, and RSEQ all-academic.
Participating in numerous camps and combines around the US allowed him to showcase his skills and talents which he will now be able to bring to the Lions this upcoming season.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
