MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – The Toronto Argonauts on Wednesday added another name to their quarterback competition, signing NFL journeyman Cleo Lemon on a contract.
“Cleo is a mobile quarterback with experience as a starter in the NFL,” Argos coach Jim Barker said in a news release. “He is smart, accurate and has a reputation as a solid decision-maker. We are excited to watch Cleo compete with our other quarterbacks for the opportunity to lead our club.”
