AUS Recruiting Wrap: St. Mary’s announces first commit, Acadia boosts running game

RB Ben Fraser

Ben Fraser is one of two recent Acadia University commits travelling from the nation’s capital to Wolfville, N.S. to play for the Axemen.

Fraser is a 6’0″, 210 lb running back and slotback from Ottawa, Ont., where he played for St. Joseph’s Catholic High School.


RB Bibbian Hamilton

Bibbian Hamilton is another Ontario commit heading to Acadia in the fall.

Hamilton is a 6’3″, 200 lb running back from Hamilton, Ont., where he played for the S.W.C. Bulldogs.


OL Keiran Richards

Keiran Richards will stay on the east coast to play for the Axemen.

Richards is a 6’4″, 275 lb offensive and defensive lineman for St. Stephen High School in St. Stephen, N.B..


DB Cody Croucher

Cody Croucher is the second of two recent Axemen commits from Ottawa, Ont..

Croucher is a 6’2″, 175 lb defensive back for St. Mark’s High School.


RB Pierce Sweeney

Pierce Sweeney is the third of three recent running back commits to head to Acadia.

Sweeney is a 5’10”, 170 lb running back from Miramichi, N.B., where he played for James M. Hill High School.


QB Justin Quirion

Justin Quirion will stay in Quebec to play for the Bishop’s University Gaiters.

Quirion is a quarterback from Saint-Georges, Que., where he played for CEGEP Levis.


RB Michael Nicoletta

Michael Nicoletta is Bishop’s most recent commit.

Nicoletta is a 5’7″, 165 lb running back for Korah Collegiate in Saulte Ste. Marie, Ont..


REC Jack Healy

Jack Healy is the second St. Francis Xavier X-Men commit from the United States.

Healy is a receiver from San Rafael, Cal., where he played for San Rafael High School.


OL Stephen Sears Jr.

Stephen Sears Jr. is another X-Men commit from outside of Canada.

Sears Jr. is an offensive lineman from Nassau, Bahamas. He last played for Holland College in Charlottetown, P.E.I..


QB Connor Neville

Connor Neville is the St. Mary’s Huskies’ first commit of 2022.

Neville is a 6’2″, 200 lb quarterback from Beaverton, Oregon. He last played for Northern Illinois UNL.
