On Sunday the fourth place Bantam Cambridge Lions hosted the Orangeville Outlaws in the first round of OMFL action.
Tyler Gibner scored on a pass from Brad MacInnis on a 75 yard play. However, the
offence struggled all day and were unable to move the ball against a tough Orangeville defence.
The Lions lost 31-6 and were eliminated from the playoffs.
āWeāre extremely proud of what the players were able to accomplish this season,ā said Assistant Coach Steve Starczala after the game. āThis was the Lions first venture in the OMFL, and with hard work and determination were able to finish in 4th place in a 10 team division.ā
