Barrie North HC Burke Erwin to speak at FCCA Convention (April 2 & 3)


The newly formed Football Canada Coaches Association (FCCA) is pleased to announce current Barrie North high school (Barrie, ON) Head Coach Burke Erwin as a speaker at the 2011 FCCA CONVENTION being held April 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] and 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] in Burlington, Ontario at Corpus Christi High School.
Burke, who played 5 years at Carleton University (Defensive Line), started up the high school program at Nantyr Shores and within 3 years participated in a championship game. He then moved to Barrie North and has participated in the last 3 out of 4 Simcoe county championship games. Over the past 2 seasons (regular season) the Barrie North defence has only given up a total of 4 touchdowns. Burke also runs a junior football development camp for grade 8, 9, & 10s called the “Simcoe county contact football camp.” The FCCA is excited to have Burke speak on April 2nd.
