Barrie lineman joins AUS team’s 2016 class

Michael McKean likes the direction that the Saint Mary’s (SMU) Huskies is headed towards in the future.

Consequently, the 6’4, 330 pound offensive lineman (guard) from Barrie, Ontario signed recently with the Huskies.  McKean will join the team for the 2016 AUS season.

“I decided to go to St Mary’s because of the atmosphere all the players were very welcoming and AJ [Tufford] is great,” explained McKean of his decision.  “I feel as if the program is going into the right direction and it will be a program to look out for in years to come. I feel as if St Mary’s is going to be a powerhouse in the AUS and a national contender.”

“They are young, they are hungry and they have something to prove.”
