BC High School Notable Performances: CFC 100 Walker & West shine; Cobb & Guzman unstoppable

BC HIGH SCHOOL NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

• New Westminster RB Jordan Guzman recorded three rushing touchdowns in their 54-8 win against West Vancouver.
• St. Thomas More RB Shane Noel carried for 135 yards and two touchdowns in their 42-0 win against Centennial.
• Mt. Douglas REC Gavin Cobb recorded nine receptions for 217 yards and two scores in their 36-7 win against Notre Dame.
• Pitt Meadows LB Bailey Mountford lead the team defense with 8 tackles in a 7-0 win over Abbotsford. Teammate RB Jan Cabrera had a 25-yard rushing touchdown for the game’s only score.
• Nanaimo District REC Tyus Barfoot caught four passes for 53 yards, three of which turned into scores, in his team’s 50-38 win against Seaquam.
• Seaquam QB Joss Yanciw rushed for three scores and threw for another in his team’s 50-38 loss against Nanaimo District.
• Moscrop QB Abdinasir Abdi, in his team’s 43-14 win over Frank Hurt, led the way by rushing for three scores and passing for another.
• Argyle QB Cole Theobald threw two touchdown passes to secure a win for the Pipers in a tight 13-6 win against Sentinel.
• Duchess Park REC Caleb Cruse caught four passes for 52 yards and two scores, while teammate RB TJ Kyriakos had 145 all-purpose yards, including a 75 yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
• Defending Double A BC Champions John Barsby gained its second shutout of the season in a 33-0 win against Ballenas. LB Cole Virtanen recorded 12 tackles, while RB Trentyn Anderson carried the ball 13 times for 133 yards and two scores.
• South Delta QB Lucas Kirk, in a 44-0 win against Handsworth, went 16-of-19 for 210 yards and threw for three touchdowns.
• Vernon QB John Garvie rushed for a pair of touchdowns and threw for another in their 48-0 win against Clarence Fulton.
• CFC 100 Mission QB Jesse Walker rushed for 208 yards and three touchdowns while passing for another in their 35-0 shutout win against Robert Bateman.
• Holy Cross RB Donovan Roberts rushed for two touchdowns in their 22-0 win against Samuel Robertson.
• Terry Fox RB Keishon Ross rushed for three touchdowns in a 34-0 win against Mt. Boucherie. On the defensive end, teammates CFC 100 DL Mike West and DL Jordan Seney both collected two sacks each for the Ravens.
