BC High School Notable Performances: #CFC100 West dashes away; Rogers, Cheng & Barfoot shine on defense

BC HIGH SCHOOL NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

• Lord Tweedsmuir DL Keegan Rogers lead the team’s defense with seven tackles and a sack in a 20-0 shutout win against Centennial.
• St. Thomas More QB Terrell Jana had 150 all-purpose yards and threw for a touchdown in a 38-15 loss against Terry Fox.
• CFC 100 Terry Fox RB Mike West finished the game with 25 carries for 160 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-15 win against St. Thomas More.
• Mt. Boucherie RB Aiden McLeod had 11 carries for 86 yards and a touchdown in a 24-13 win against W.J. Mouat.
• W.J. Mouat REC/DB Slater McRae had nine catches for 107 yards and seven tackles in his position as safety in their 24-13 loss against Mt. Boucherie.
• New Westminster QB Jamie Shiho rushed for two scores and had two kickoff returns for 87 yards in a 42-14 win against Handsworth. RB Julian Ramirez had 14 carries for 132 yards and four tackles.
• Clarence Fulton RB Mike Chapman had carries 15 times for 101 yards and a score in their 48-22 win against Salmon Arm.
• Hugh Boyd QB Tyler Moxin threw for two scores in a 38-6 win against Moscrop while RB Gabe Saklofsky ran for two touchdowns.
• John Barsby RB Cole Virtanen rushed for two scores and had 62 yards on eight carries in a 39-6 win against Nanaimo District.

• Nanaimo District LB Jeremie Cheng and DB Tyrus Barfoot each had 12 tackles in a 39-6 win against John Barsby.
• Kelly Road RB Matthew Pike returned the opening kick 74 yards, and scored on runs of 27, six, 23 and 57 yards, respectively, in a 60-10 win against College Heights.
• Argyle QB Cole Theobald went 9-of-16 for 82 yards and threw two touchdown passes in a 21-7 win against Windsor.
• Pitt Meadows REC Haden Harty had five catches for 120 yards and a touchdown in a 14-0 win against Robert Bateman while RB Ryan Beaubien rushed for 120 yards, a score, and also recorded 10 tackles and an interception in the same game.
• Vernon QB John Garvie went 8-of-10 for 189 yards and threw four touchdown passes in a 53-7 win against Valleyview.
• Vancouver College QB Giordy Belfiore scored on a 10-yard run and threw a 63-yard touchdown pass in a 35-0 win over West Vancouver.
• West Vancouver LB Nolan Strong recorded 15 tackles in a 35-0 loss to Vancouver College.
• Seaquam QB Joss Yanciw passed for over 300 yards and had three touchdown throws in a 33-25 win against Holy Cross.
• Carson Graham QB Mike Worthen went 10-of-13, passed for 208 yards, and threw three touchdown passes in a 40-6 win against Sentinel
