BC high school week 9 notable performances: CFC TOP 100 Irons & Carson Graham’s Blackwell dominate

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

• Vancouver College RB Ovie Odjegba had a pair of rushing touchdowns to lead his team to a 34-7 win over Notre Dame in the Archbishops’ Trophy.
• Lord Tweedsmuir RB Jamel Lyles carried the ball 19 times for 205 yards and had three touchdowns in his team’s 37-6 win over Centennial.
• Mt. Douglas QB Ashton MacKinnon [CFC TOP 100] went 8-of-11 for 230 yards and four touchdowns in his team’s 69-6 win over Belmont.
• W.J. Mouat RB Maleek Irons [CFC TOP 100] had 37 carries for 374 yards and three touchdowns in his team’s 38-18 win over St. Thomas More.
• Handsworth QB Mike Lemoine went 15-of-19 for 165 yards throwing a 28-yard touchdown pass as well as rushing eight yards for another in his team 24-21 win over New Westminster.
• John Barsby QB North Rainey went 14-of-19 yards for 283 yards and four touchdowns to lead his team to a 47-13 win over Nanaimo District.
• Windsor QB Ty Marshall threw three touchdowns passes and rushed for another in his team’s 53-0 win over Argyle.
• GW Graham QB Branden McCormick went 12-of-19 for 227 yards and threw for two touchdowns while rushing for another in his team’s 27-13 win over Samuel Robertson.
• Duchess Park QB Rylan Matters threw three touchdown passes and rushed for two others in his team’s 33-0 win over College Heights.
• Hugh Boyd RB Kory Nagata had six carries racking up 128 yards and four touchdowns, while also adding a pick-six for a fifth in his team’s 46-0 win over Sentinel.
• Carson Graham RB A.J. Blackwell had a whopping 30 carries for 410 yards and six touchdowns, while adding another score off a punt return in his team’s 60-46 win over Ballenas.
• Rick Hansen RB Brandon Ho had just four carries but racked up 49 yards and had three touchdowns in his team’s 30-0 win over Abbotsford.
• Vernon QB John Garvie went 6-of-9 while throwing two touchdowns in his team’s 17-8 win over Clarence Fulton.
