Another exciting season of flag football has come to an end in British Columbia with four new provincial champions in the under-10, under-12, under-14 and under-16 divisions crowned this past weekend in Kelowna joining the under-18 Coquitlam Spider Monkeys who won their provincial title last weekend at a tournament in Vancouver.
Two thrilling days of competition at the Capital News Centre over June 9-10, a tournament which involved over 700 participants, 80 teams and 300 games played, yielded the following 2012 champions:
Under-10: Kelowna Chargers (Head Coach: Kendall Gross)
Under-12: Burnaby Lions (Head Coach: Tony Belmonte)
Under-14: Richmond Broncos (Head Coach: Bobby Singh)
Under-16: Coquitlam Falcons (Co-Head Coaches: Paul Lancaster & Eddie Ferg)
