Offense āRunning back, Zander Bailey-VI Raiders
25 carries for 113 yards
Rookie Zander Bailey has been the #2 back in the VI Raiders backfield behind Rhett Williams, carrying the ball 59 times for 312 yards on the regular season. But with Williams going down to injury in the previous weekendās semi-final, the diminutive scat-back was thrust into the starting role and arguably lionās den against the big, physical Westshore Rebels defensive line. Bailey was up to the challenge and was a workhorse in churning out yards as the Raiders pounded the ground game on an evening that saw a driving rainstorm hamper both sides passing attack.

Defense ā DEFENSIVE BACK, Shawn Arabsky-VI Raiders
1 knockdown, 2 interceptions,
Arabsky is the defensive player for the second week in a row and for the second week in a row he offered up two interceptions for his club.
Was Arabsky a member of the Raiders secondary or the Rebels receiving corp? Hard to tell the difference as his interception total equalled the Rebels leading receiver on the night.

Special Teams-Punter, Nic Hunchak-VI Raiders
15 punts, 41.2 yard average
Nic was named to the BCFC all star team a week ago, Saturday night he was named the special team player of the game in the Cullen Cup. They donāt give an outstanding player award out in this game but if they did, that award would go to Nic Hunchak on this night. His stellar 41.2 average kept the Rebels on a long field all night, and in the terrible weather conditions that put the Raiders opponent behind the proverbial 8 ball all night long.
