Receiver – #81 Marshall Cook – Vancouver Island Raiders

It was a record tying performance for Raiders’ receiverΒ Marshall CookΒ on Saturday night as he’s named the β€œBC Lions Offensive Player of the Week.” The fourth year receiver tied a BCFC record with 14 catches, gained 208 yards and hauled in the only Raiders touchdown pass.

Defensive Back – #15 Robbie Yochim – Okanagan Sun
A 75 yard pick six for Okanagan Sun defensive backΒ Robbie YochimΒ highlighted a great night for the fifth year player as he’s named the β€œBC Lions Defensive Player of the Week.”  The Kelowna native intercepted a second pass, made four solo tackles and assisted on another.

CJFL Special Teams POW

Returner – #4 John Beckerleg – Langley Rams
Easily the best special teams player on the field across the Conference was Langley Rams returner John Beckerleg, named the β€œBC Lions Special Teams Player of the Week.”   The first year Ram returned four kick-offs totally 155 yards, including a 90 yard return for a touchdown.Β  He also returned four punts giving the Rams good field position.
