Bisons “a dream to play” for Plumas recruit

Plumas standout joins Hardy Cup Champions’ 2015 class.

Brenden Cowan is about to realize a childhood dream.

Recently, the 6’3, 195 pound wide receiver/defensive back/athlete from Plumas has committed to the University of Manitoba Bisons.  Cowan will join the team for the 2015 CWUAA season.

“I committed to the Bisons because it has been my dream to play for them ever sense I started playing football,” elaborated the Manitoba recruit of his decision.  “Besides the fact of me always wanting to play for the Bisons, they also have a tremendous football program and an amazing new field (Investors Group).”

Cowan has played for Neepawa Tigers. This past season, he amassed 700 passing yards, over 1,000 rushing yards, scored 11 rushing touchdowns, seven passing majors, threw eight two-point conversions and scored on six two-point conversions.
