Well its Friday afternoon and Im finally getting to this weeks post.  Its Vukovi week here in Serbia and your 8-1 Wild Boars are hosting the 9-0 Vukovi in what is a rematch of our week 3 game where we lost 14-41 when we traveled to Belgrade, but more on that in a little bit.

Last weekend we had a very rough week in practice.  Thunder and lightning storms only allowed us 1 real practice outside and we had to make due by meeting in the office with all positions and going over film, responsibilities and an overview of what the Pancevo Panthers do as a team.  The weather here, from what everyone has told me is very unusual for this time of year since it should be nice and hot.  We had about 2 weeks of it being perfect summer weather then it just went to hell.  Even allot of Germany, Austira, Czech, and Switzerland is under water in some of the worst floods ever.  Not sure if the American media outlets are showing this.  I just hope it starts to get nice because one of the reasons I wanted to be in Serbia this year is because its nice and hot in the summer.  After our bye week when I was in Poland we had a coaches meeting and talked about ways we can come  out on fire instead of being just so flat for the first couple drives.  It was like for people who watch the UFC, Forrest Griffen was notorious for having to get hit a few time before relizing hes in a fight.   We have been that way as well the last few games.  So last week we went in with a different stratigy and it seemed to work pretty well.  We moved the ball up and down the field from the opening wistle.  Our D played amazing with 3 INTs and played shut out ball till the end when we let the young guys get reps.  Ever since Santino got here our running game has been very good when before it was non existant.  Santino ran for 2 TDs and he threw for 3 more.  Trey ended up with 2 TDs and Chad got 1.  Sima had a few very nice catches along the way as well did our other WRs.  Its very nice having a team that is so deep at WR. One bit of very bad news is that Alf our starting RB tore his achilies tendon in the game and is out for the season.  This is one position we do not have much depth in.  We have a young running back named Bunny who will take the majority of the carries now and hope he can step up and be the man.

Milorad our DE ended up the first player to win the championship belt in back to back weeks and now only two players have won it 3 different times.  Who’s going to win it this week?  Who knows, but what I do know is that everyone is pumped for the game this weekend and does not want to lose to Vukovi for a 5th straight time.  Next weeks update will be allot better and full of fun information.    This is just been a very busy week.  Hell I have not even had time to go to the gym every day like I am used to doing.

Tomorrow will mark the 40th day since we lost our dear friend.   Its the day in Orthodox where every will go to his grave site and pay their respects.  I cant believe its been 40 days already.  Time seems to fly no matter if you are having fun or not.  Alf told me last night he was going to his 15 year prom.  I think its like a reunion but damn It seems like so long ago I was at my 10 year reunion and that was in 2007.  I will be 35 in September and I just cant believe how time has flown.  I have been doing this Traveling/coaching thing since 2007 when I was 27 now almost 7 years later,  where does the time go?

All in all it was a good game for us, it got us on the right path for this weeks Showdown with Vukovi
