As for the Thunderbirds, the team is looking forward to this addition – which will bolster their offensive line.

β€œMatt is a massive young man,” commented Thunderbirds Head Coach Shawn Olson.Β  β€œWe felt he was one of the top, if not the top offensive lineman from the province of Saskatchewan.”

β€œHe has good feet and strength, but his best trait is an outstanding football IQ.Β  He also brings a championship pedigree from Leboldus High School.Β  We are very excited to add Matt to our young offensive line unit.”

ALEX HO:

The 6’2, 250 pound quarterback from Abbotsford, British Columbia has opted to stay home for his CIS career.

Ho joins the Thunderbirds after completing his high school career with Rick Hansen Hurricanes of the British Columbia High School Football Association (BCHSFA).

Olson is thrilled to have landed a local pivot with tremendous upside.

β€œAlex is a very good quarterback prospect,” commented Olson.Β  β€œHe is a monster standing at 6’2 and 250 pounds with amazing strength and sneaky athleticism.”

β€œHe has one of the strongest arms I have seen and I am really excited to work with and see how we can develop his potential.”
