British Columbia recruit chooses Mount Allison

Kamloops receiver joins AUS team’s 2016 class.

Dayton Schadlich has found his new gridiron home and it is all the way down in the Maritimes.

Recently, the 6’5, 205 pound receiver from Kamloops, British Columbia committed to Mount Allison Mounties.  He will join the team for the 2016 AUS season.

“Some factors of why I committed to Mount Allison are of the team’s success in the conference recently and the size of the school,” explained Schadlich of his decision.  “The size reminds me of the community in my hometown I’m a part of and made me feel like it’d be like home away from home.”

“I also believe in an environment like at Mount Allison it will push me the be the best student athlete I can be. I was also attracted to how prideful Mount Allison’s community is and also reminds me of living in Westsyde.”
