BROWNE’S BYTES: The remarkable resurgence of the Waterloo Warriors

Last Tuesday was a monumental day for the Waterloo Warriors.

They landed CFC100 James Hinsperger when he announced his commitment to the program via Twitter. The native of Cambridge – about half an hour outside Waterloo – becomes the third member of his family to join the Warriors; brothers Jack and Devon are entering their third and fifth years, respectively, with the black and gold. The youngest Hinsperger brother, who has been starring at Blair Academy in New Jersey, had offers from several NCAA Division I schools, including Michigan, Virginia and UPenn.

Yet, he chose Waterloo.
