Burlington, Ontario – CFC Coaches Clinic brings in Tom Flaxman (Updated March 7th)
Current Western Mustang coach Tom Flaxman will be speaking at the BURLINGTON COACHES CLINIC on March 28 & March 29.Β Tom will be presenting on ‘running back’ skills and drills.Β CFC is excited to have such a great CIS coach participate in our Burlington clinic.Β Tom has coached in the CIS, OVFL and Football Canada Cup.Β Coach Flaxman is grateful and excited for the opportunity to speak in front of his peers in Burlington.

Coach Flaxman’s BIO:
Tom is entering his first season with the Western Mustangs after 2 yers with the University of Toronto as Offensive Coordinator.Β Flaxman began his CIS coaching career as the Acadia Axemen running backs coach in 2008 and later assumed the role of special teams coordinator.Β He became co-offensive coordinator in 2011 and helped guide Acadia to the Atlantic conference crown.
Flaxman has been involved with the Ontario Varsity Football Leagueβs (OVFL) Mississauga Warriors since 2004 as an offensive assistant, co-coordinator and coordinator.Β During that time, he has been a member of four division and three OVFL championship teams.
As a player, the standout running back won the Yates Cup as a member of the McMaster Marauders in 2003 before transferring to Acadia, where he enjoyed similar success with back-to-back Atlantic conference championship titles in 2005 and 2006.
