Caledonia lineman joins OUA team’s 2016 class.

Jack Richardson couldnā€™t have felt more comfortable at his future CIS destination.

Recently, the 6ā€™0, 270 pound lineman from Caledonia, Ontario signed with the McMaster Marauders. Richardson will join the team for the 2016 OUA season.

ā€œI chose Mac because it felt like home,ā€ expressed Richardson of his commitment.Ā  ā€œIt was very welcoming every time I visited the campus; it was the right fit academically and the coaching and strength and conditioning staff are some of the best in the CIS.ā€

ā€œThe program has been one of the most successful in the country in recent years and gives me the best opportunity to be a part of a winning program and develop as a player.ā€

Among the teams Richardson has suited up during his career include McKinnon Park Blue Devils of the Norfolk Secondary School Athletic Association (NSSAA) and Hamilton Hurricanes of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).

Additionally, the lineman has represented his home province as a member of Team Ontario at the Football Canada Cup and International Bowl.
