Calgary offensive lineman joins AUS team’s 2015 class.

Saint Mary’s Huskies have announced the addition of Mike Annuik to their football program.

The 6’3, 290 pound offensive lineman (tackle) from Calgary, Alberta will join the team for the 2015 AUS season.

“We are extremely happy to have Mike join our football family,” commented Huskies Head Coach Perry Marchese.

This past season, Annuik suited up for the Calgary Colts in the Prairie Football Conference (PFC) in the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL).

For his part, the offensive lineman felt comfortable during his official visit to the Halifax, Nova Scotia campus and felt as though he belonged the team.

“The biggest reason I committed to SMU was because it has a great group of coaches and players,” expressed Annuik.  “When I went down for my visit, all the guys were very welcoming and made me a part of the family!”

“I feel like the program is great! All the guys work really hard! And the coaches as well! I am very excited to be part of the Saint Mary’s football team.”
