Calgary recruit impressed with X-Men’s recruitment treatment (VIDEO)

Calgary receiver joins AUS team’s 2016 class

Marko Vukovic will be playing at the CIS level in Atlantic Canada.

Recently, the 6’0, 190 pound receiver committed to StFX X-Men.  Vukovic will join the team for the 2016 AUS season.

Ultimately, the X-Men’s strong, yet positive impression during the recruitment process was the main reason why Vukovic chose the program.  Additionally, the receiver envisions a great future for the team.

“Any question I had, they answered, and they were always 100 percent honest with me right from the start,” recalled the offensive standout.  “The hard work and dedication these coaches put in for their players it’s outstanding.”

“I also love the direction the team is going, coming off a Lonely Bowl win and a game in the Uteck Bowl really says a lot, the team is ready to compete at any level in the CIS. Coaches [Dave] Van Den Heuvel, [Steve] Snyder and [Gary] Waterman really made StFX feel like it was a home away from home.  Players from all over the country come to this school and leave saying it’s the best time of their lives and I know for a fact I will too.”
