Calgary receiver joins AUS team’s 2016 class

Marko Vukovic will be playing at the CIS level in Atlantic Canada.

Recently, the 6ā€™0, 190 pound receiver committed to StFX X-Men.Ā  Vukovic will join the team for the 2016 AUS season.

Ultimately, the X-Menā€™s strong, yet positive impression during the recruitment process was the main reason why Vukovic chose the program.Ā  Additionally, the receiver envisions a great future for the team.

ā€œAny question I had, they answered, and they were always 100 percent honest with me right from the start,ā€ recalled the offensive standout.Ā  ā€œThe hard work and dedication these coaches put in for their players it’s outstanding.ā€

ā€œI also love the direction the team is going, coming off a Lonely Bowl win and a game in the Uteck Bowl really says a lot, the team is ready to compete at any level in the CIS. Coaches [Dave] Van Den Heuvel, [Steve] Snyder and [Gary] Waterman really made StFX feel like it was a home away from home.Ā  Players from all over the country come to this school and leave saying it’s the best time of their lives and I know for a fact I will too.ā€
