Kelowna, British Columbia’s Danny Watkins has been invited to attend the NFL draft next month. The Baylor Bear Offensive Tackle (projected to play guard in the NFL) has been projected as high as the second round pick after an impressive Senior Bowl and NFL combine performance.
Watkins, 6’3″ 310 lbs., did not start playing football until he attended Junior College in California for Butte College in 2007. After the 2008 season he attended Baylor where he played in 2009 and 2010. Watkins was selected 4th overall in the 2010 CFL draft by the B.C. Lions.
