WR Dawson Lennea

The Saskatchewan Huskies have had a busy September. Slotback Dawson Lennea from Saskatoon is one of many commits.

“It’s close to home, they have a great program and facilities, and there’s familiar faces.”

Dawson has suited up for the Martensville Maddogs (SMFL) and Bishop James Mahoney (SHSAA).

The Huskies’ new target is 5’11, 175lbs.

Dawson Lennea committed on September 14th, 2021.

WR Aaryn Sommacal 

A new wide receiver has agreed to join the University of Saskatchewan. Aaryn Sommacal is a local singing for the Huskies.

Aaryn is currently playing for the St. Joseph’s Guardians (SHSAA). He weighs in at 6’1, 175lbs.

The University of Saskatchewan Huskies signed Aaryn Sommacal on September 13th, 2021.

CFC100 DB Ethan Laing

The Huskies have bolstered their defensive corps with the signing of a local defensive back. Ethan Laing will stay in Saskatoon and join the Huskies for the next season of football.

Ethan is 5’9, 160lbs. He spent his high school football with the Holy Cross Crusaders (SHSAA).

On September 15, 2021 Ethan Laing committed to the Saskatchewan Huskies.

CFC100 QB Griffen Sander

The University of Saskatchewan is bringing in a local quarterback.

Griffin Sander will wear the green and white of the Huskies after completing his high school football in at Bishop James Mahoney (SHSAA).

The Huskies’ new quarterback stands tall at 6’3, 200lbs.

Griffin Sander agreed to sign with the University of Saskatchewan on September 16th, 2021.

DL Noah Cheslom

A local defensive lineman has been added to the roster of the Saskatchewan Huskies. Noah Chelsom is set to join the Huskies in 2022.

Noah weighs in at 6’4, 200lbs. He comes to the Huskies from Aden Bowman High School (SHSAA) in Saskatoon.

On September 17th Noah Chelsom became a member of the University of Saskatchewan Huskies.

CFC100 DL Charlie Parks

The Saskatchewan Huskies have signed a defensive lineman from Regina, Saskatchewan. After Charlie Parks completes his high school at Sheldon Williams (RIFL), he will head west to Saskatoon and play for the Huskies.

Charlie will be a rock for his team at 6’5, 215lbs.

The University of Saskatchewan inked Charlie Parks to a deal on September 20th, 2021.

LB Raiden Duchesneau 

The University of Alberta has their first recruit of the new season. High Prairie’s Raiden Duchesneau will head south to Edmonton in 2022.

“I chose the University of Alberta for not only their terrific coaching staff and great program but also for the extra help I will receive in my studies well I attend university,” he says.

The Golden Bears are looking to boost their defensive backs with signing 5’9, 160lbs Duchesneau.

Raiden currently plays football in High Prairie Alberta for the High Prairie Renegades (NRMPC). In 2018 Raiden was on the Zone 8 Summer Games football team, the 2019 Alberta Junior Bowl North Team, and he was also named to the 2020 CFC Fox 40 Prospect Challenge West. Raiden mentions, “Although I was unable to attend the Fox 40 games as I was playing provincials for an Elite Hockey Team.”

Raiden Duchesneau was ecstatic when the University of Alberta signed him to a contract on September 6th, 2021.

CFC100 LB Layne Johnson

The Regina Rams have made their first singing. The Rams are pleased to welcome linebacker Layne Johnson from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

Layne stands at 6’2, 215lbs. He comes to the Rams after spending his high school years at Central Collegiate (RIFL).

On September 2nd,2021 Layne Johnson agreed to terms with the University of Regina Rams.
