Saskatchewan Huskies
The University of Saskatchewan is sticking close to home with the commitment of CFC Prospect Game OL Tristan Scott.
βI chose the U of S because I wanted to stay close to home. I also love the coaches, facility, and people surrounding the program,β he states.
Scott’s hometown is Martensville, Saskatchewan where he played high school football for the Martensville Royals, and he began hiscareer in Saskatoon Minor Football. The young offensive lineman displayed his skills on the national stage last year with an invitiation to the CFC Prospect Game on TSN.
βMy goals are to fall into the team dynamic and begin to grow around it,β he states. βMy goal is to be a player the U of S can count on, and to help them continue the success theyβve had this season for years to come. Iβm also going to work hard to continue bettering myself.β
A new running back has also agreed to become a Huskie with RB Dakota Gawel ready to wear the green and white in 2023. Gawel will be leaving Melville, Saskatchewan where he grew up playing football for the Cobras, and will be studying Kinesiology in university.
Regina Rams
ReginaΒ have signed a big lineman from Saskatoon with OL Aidan Paslowski making his way East to join the Rams in 2023. At 6β7, 270lbs, Paslowski should be able to use his frame to help the Ramsβ dominate in the trenches. Paslowski has only played one year of high school football with the CFC50 Holy Cross Crusaders,Β will be enrolling in the Faculty of Education.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
