DB Joel Akhile
The University of Calgary have acquired a defensive back from the Colts. Joel Akhile is set to jump from the CJFL to U Sports.
βI chose Calgary because I feel that itβs the best place for me to get the best coaching at my position,β he states. βBeing acquainted with the technique from being coached by Dinoβs alumni growing up in Calgary helped as well.β
Before he was with the Calgary Colts, Akhile played high school football for MCLA and spring ball for the Airdrie Raiders.
βMy goals are to be one of the hardest workers out there, prove my worth and hopefully help contribute to winning games leading into a championship,β he states.
Calgaryβs new defensive recruit stands at 6β0″, 175lbs.
WR Kael Williams
A wide receiver from North Vancouver has committed to the University of Calgary. Kael Williams will call Alberta home in 2023.
The 6β2″, 185lbs prospect learned his game at Handsworth Secondary.
OL Greyson Rieder
The Calgary Dinos have agreed to terms with an offensive lineman from Lethbridge. Greyson Rieder has been recruited by the U of C.
Rieder comes to the Dinos from CFC50 LCI, and at 6β3″, 280lbs Greyson could clog up some holes for his new team.
DE Adam Hassett
A defensive recruit has been signed by the University of Calgary. Okotokβs Adam Hassett wonβt have to go far to continue his football career. Hassett comes to the Dinos after completing his high school career at CFC25 Holy Trinity Academy.
Calgary are hoping Hassett will use his frame of 6β2, 200lbs to their advantage.

WR Rylan Klenk
A local wide receiver is set to join the Manitoba Bisons. Rylan Klenk is the latest prospect to sign with the U of M. The CFC50 Dakota Collegiate standout is 5β11, 165lbs.

RB Jevon Garwood
A running back from B.C will head East to continue his football journey with the Rams. Jevon Garwood has agreed to join the University of Regina.
Garwood chose Regina because he thinks itβs the best place to be in his position, and itβs close to home. While heβs at the U of R he will be taking kinesiology, plus health and studies.
Garwood comes to the University of Regina from the CJFLβs Okanagan Sun. Before he was there, he played high school ball for the CFC25 Langley Rams.
βMy goal is to be a great player on and off the field and also win championships,β he states.
The Ramsβ new offensive threat weighs in at 5β8″, 180lbs.
LB Andy Stewart
The University of Regina has landed a linebacker from Regina. Andy Stewart can stay in his hometown to continue his dream of playing football at the next level. Stewart went to F.W. Johnson Collegiatw, and will bring a sturdy 6β0″, 180lbs to the Regina Rams.

UBC Thunderbirds
CFC60 QB Jack Zergiotis
A new superstar quarterback has signed a contract with the Thunderbirds. Jack Zergiotis will continue his post-secondary career in Canada. The young stud grew up in Montreal, and has played football for UConn and Merrimack in the NCAA since 2019.
UBC is ecstatic about their 6β2″, 200lbs quarterback acquisition.
