CEGEP defensive back joins RSEQ team’s 2016 class.

Francis Janelle will be commencing his CIS career in his hometown in 2016.

Recently, the 6’0, 185 pound defensive back has committed to the Montreal Carabins.  Janelle will join the team for the 2016 RSEQ season.

The strength of the football program, from the coaching staff to the players and tradition of excellence, played a significant part in Janelle’s decision.

“The coaching staff is extremely competent,” elaborated Janelle.  “[Head Coach] Danny Maciocia and his colleagues know how to win championships as they showed last year.”

“Joining the Carabins permits me not only to play for a winning team, but also gives me the opportunity to compete with the best players in the CIS and this is the best way to improve my game.”
