Carabins “best choice” for CEGEP recruit (VIDEO)

CEGEP offensive lineman joins RSEQ team’s 2016 class.

Francois Bessette has only envisioned a blue future in his hometown.

Recently, the 6’1, 285 pound offensive lineman chose to commit to the Montreal Carabins.  Bessette will join the team for the 2016 RSEQ season.

“I really think Montreal is the best choice for my future,” explained Bessette of his decision.  “The opportunity to stay in Montreal and to play for one of the best team in the country certainly made a difference in my decision making process.”

“Also, Montreal has a great academic support program and I’m sure they will help me to achieve my full potential on and off the field.”

Bessette will begin his final season with CEGEP Division 1 team, Vieux-Montreal Spartiates.  In 2014, the offensive lineman guided the team to the Bol D’Or Championship and was named the Spartiates Lineman of the Year.

Previous to the Spartiates, Bessette suited up for RSEQ Juvenile Division 1 team, College Jean Eudes Aigles.
