“This is a good start, but we need to eliminate penalties and correct our mistakes in order to do better each week.”

Quarterback Pierre-Luc Varhegyi went into action in the second half. After completing a 39-yard pass to Mikhail Davidson, he scored on a 1 yard quarterback sneak. In the fourth quarter, he connected with rookie Sean Thomas Erlington for a six yard touchdown pass, the rookie’s first score as a Carabin.

“We couldn’t put any less pressure than we did today,” said the defensive lineman David Ménard “This had be done and it created several turnovers.”

“We have great athletes and recruits on the line that are already playing at a high level.”

“This is a good start,” said Carabins Head Coach Danny Maciocia.  “I am very proud of our players.”

“They came today and gave their best.  The guys had a great attitude and played with passion throughout the game. ”
