The Carabins defense recorded 10 sacks and limited the Stingers to only field goal attempts, other than the Jamal Henry 53 yard touchdown reception from Reid Quest.
“Our mentality on the defensive line is that we want to set the pace of the game” said second year Carabins defensive End Jean-Samuel Blanc.Β Β “We word hard, follow what the coaches teach us, and mostly have fun.”Β Β In 2 games the Carabins defense already has 15 sacks.
With the score 20 to 10 at the beginnning of the fourth quarter, the Carabins offense exploded for fourth touchdowns.Β Β Mikhail Davidson caught a Alexandre Nadeau-Piuze touchdown then running backs Rotrand Sene and Nicolas Dubeau (2) scored touchdowns.
“We played a physical team and allowed them to stay in the game by committing some mistakes on offense” said Carabins head coach Danny Maciocia.Β Β “We followed our game plan, but made some adjustments at the third quarter that worked well.”
