Carabins provide CEGEP recruit with “chance to compete against the best”

A couple of reunions are in store for Max Philogene once he commences his CIS career next fall.

Recently, the 5’8, 165 pound defensive back from Laval, Quebec has committed to the Montreal Carabins.Β  Philogene will join the team for the 2016 RSEQ season.

β€œI chose to commit to Montreal because I think it as the best choice for my education since I want to study business and Montreal gives me the chance to study at Hec,” explained Philogene of his decision.Β  β€œI will also get the chance to play for my former coach Paul-Eddy Saint-Villien and play with some great former teammates such has Gabriel Parent or Will Altema.”

β€œThe program keeps improving each year and I want to be part of it because it will give me the chance to compete against the best.”

In 2015, Philogene completed his CEGEP career with Division 1 team Montmorency Nomades.Β  During the season, he registered 23 solo and 14 assisted tackles.
