Careers (CFC) is a Canadian-operated sports media and events company. Established in 2010, the goal of CFC is to be the best high school football recruiting media and events company focusing on player advocacy. To date, CFC has completed more than 164 events across Canada, including 50+ tournament games.

The CFC Prospect Game is the first and only Canadian high school football all-star game that is produced and broadcast on TSN. It’s inaugural game was June 2019. We are excited to be able to do the CFC Prospect Game for the second year in a row. With the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, this game will be postponed until further notice.

Since CFC began ranking players, the number of Canadians offered NCAA football scholarships has increased by 250%. CFC offers an exclusive membership, known as CFC Insider, featuring access to exclusive content including rankings, analysis, and recruiting news. Members include players, parents, fans and coaches across North America.

We provide daily amateur news updates, rankings (teams and players), recruiting news & commitments, prospect videos (NCAA and U Sports), scores and schedules, web streaming of interview shows & games.

We also partner with Tracking Football. The partnership will see CFC provide all player testing data from combines to Tracking Football. This data is used by many NCAA FBS Power 5 programs and Tracking Football is at the NFL’s Senior Bowl this week where the company anticipates their product will soon be used by NFL teams.

We also provide Internship opportunities for students enrolled in a journalism, broadcast, communications/public relations program at an accredited institution.

If you have a passion for sport, are a strong writer and have a desire to cover everything Canadian amateur football related, send us an email, or send us a message via CFC’s social media.

“CFC gave me a great opportunity to work on my football writing and analysis work while having an open ended platform that can reach a wide variety of football fans. Definitely a positive experience.” – TSN, Marshall Ferguson @TSN_Marsh

“All great sports journalists started small before their careers were launched. Writing for is a wonderful opportunity to build up a profile and a repertoire of football knowledge. In such a competitive industry, real life experience can make your resume shine.” – Elizabeth Karchut

“It has been a tremendous experience working for CFC. As an aspiring journalist and lover of football, I have been able to combine two of my greatest passions to help us remain the #1 source for amateur football in the country, providing top quality coverage to teams and players from coast to coast.” – Ben Browne

“One of the great things about writing a column for Canada Football Chat is how much you have a chance to learn, researching columns and examining the facts is very enlightening and CFC has made that possible for me.” – Don Edwards

“I’ve been with CFC for over two years now. It’s been an exciting and rewarding time with Canada Football Chat.” – Marc Cloutier

“CFC gave me my first opportunity to pursue a career in sports journalism. Through my time writing for the website, I have developed a portfolio I am proud of and skills that will serve me well into the future as a journalist.” – Zack Smart

“Having the opportunity to contribute to the “Did You Know?” series for CFC for the last four months has widened my focus as to how many truly unique and fascinating Canadian amateur football stories have been given a voice and the many others that wait patiently to be discovered. Being able to provide a more significant platform to show the journeys and accomplishments of high school and U SPORTS football players across Canada to a large-scale audience is both rewarding and nostalgic considering I was a former high school football player myself. I am grateful to Katie Burt for allowing me to gain valuable experience in an industry which I hope to pursue further after I finish my undergrad. For anyone hoping to break into the Canadian football and sports media industry, I would highly recommend CFC as a stepping stone to help get you on your way.” – Grant Vassos
