Calgary lineman joins OUA team’s 2016 class.
Carleton Ravens have announced the addition of #CFC100 J-Min Pelley to their football program.
Pelley, the 6’4, 275 pound lineman from Calgary, Alberta, will join the team for the 2016 OUA season.
“Getting a talent like J-Min is a great pickup for the program,” commented Ravens Head Coach Steve Sumarah. “We are excited to have him be a part of our program.”
This past fall, Pelley completed a stint with the Calgary Colts of the Prairie Football Conference (PFC) in the Canadian Junior Football Conference (CJFL).
Pelley played at the high school level for the Bishop McNally/Father Lacombe Laserwolves of the Alberta Schools Athletic Association (ASAA).
In 2015, the offensive lineman was selected as a Calgary Area Midget Football Association (CAMFA) All-Star for his play with Calgary Mavericks.
Last summer, Pelley represented his province as a member of Team Alberta at the 2015 Football Canada Cup in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. Most recently, the lineman represented his country as a member of Team Canada’s under-18 squad at the 2016 International Bowl.
With his commitment, the Ravens now have five #CFC100 recruits. The others include defensive back Tyrell Richards, running back Jevante Stanley, defensive back Ricardo Barrett and receiver Nigel Goodridge.
