A RSEQ team has landed a CEGEP all-star to their 2013 recruiting class.
The McGill Redmen have announced the commitment of offensive lineman Qadr Spooner.
“We are ecstatic to have Qadr part of the Redmen family,” commented Redmen Recruiting Coordinator Pat Donovan. “With his size and tenacity the sky is the limit for this young man.”
The 6’5, 305 pound native of Montreal, Quebec joins the Redmen after a stellar CEGEP campaign with the Vanier College Cheetahs. Qadr played at the offensive line position for the first time in his career and helped the Cheetahs to a Bol D’Or Championship this past season. For his efforts on the field, he was selected as a CEGEP Division 1 All-Star.
