CEGEP recruit attracted to Concordia’s ‘bright future’

David Dulude is looking forward to joining a team that he has great expectations for in the coming years.

Recently, the 6’0, 10 pound linebacker from Montreal, Quebec signed with Concordia Stingers.Β  Dulude will join the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.

β€œI’ve decided to join the Stingers ever since Coach Patrick Donovan was in charge of defense,” elaborated Dulude.Β  β€œHe spotted me two years ago at the U19 Canada tryouts and I was very pleased by how and who I got approached.”

β€œCoach Donovan was an outstanding defensive player back in is days, I think he can teach me his experience throughout his CIS years and bring my skills to another level. Plus the future looks bright; there are so many players who committed in the past two years that got talent.Β  I wouldn’t be surprised if we shake things up this season.”

The linebacker had completed a stint with CEGEP Division 3 team, Lanaudiere Triades.Β  In 2014, Dulude registered 40 tackles (25 solo tackles, 30 assisted tackles),Β  five tackles for a loss, recorded fourΒ  sacks, and caught an interception.
