CEGEP running back/slotback joins RSEQ team’s 2016 class.
Reda Malki is staying close to home for the next chapter of his academic and gridiron career.
Last week, the 5’10, 200 pound running back/slotback from Laval, Quebec committed to the McGill Redmen. Malki will join the team for the 2016 RSEQ season.
“I chose McGill because of the proximity to my house,” commented Malki of the commitment decision. “I believe in the new program and the new coaching staff.”
This past fall, the offensive standout completed his CEGEP career with Division 2 team Edouard-Montpetit Lynx. During the 2015 season with the Lynx, Malki amassed 700 yards and scored five touchdowns. Additionally, he racked up close to 500 yards on special teams as a kick return specialist.
“I would like to help quickly in the future,” expressed Malki. “I believe in the Redmen!”
