CEGEP recruit believes Vert et Or provides “tools to succeed” (VIDEO)

Quebec City receiver joins RSEQ team’s 2016.

William Flamand felt a significant comfort level with one CIS school.

Consequently, the 5’10, 180 pound receiver from Quebec City, Quebec committed to Sherbrooke Vert et Or. Flamand will join the team for the 2016 RSEQ season.

Overall, the team’s philosophies, tight knit environment and the opportunity to reunite with a former teammate were the main factors that led the offensive standout to opt for the Vert et Or.

“I decided to commit to Sherbrooke because of the values of the team wich are very similar to Limoilou’s values,” elaborated Flamand.  “There’s a big feeling of joining a family when you step for the first time in the Vert et Or’s locker.”

“Also, the program seems to care about their players so they give you all the tools to succeed. The fact that my teammate Christopher Charest chose Sherbrooke also influenced my commitment.”

Flamand has previously suited up for CEGEP Division 1 team, Limoilou Titans.  As a receiver, he played both inside and outside.
