CEGEP recruit envisions Bishop’s as contenders

Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu offensive lineman signs with RSEQ team.

Anthony Dupuis found the program that could give him the best there was to offer him for his CIS gridiron career.

Recently, the 6’5, 310 pound offensive lineman (left tackle) from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec signed with Bishop’s Gaiters.Β  Dupuis will join the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.

β€œI committed to the Gaiters because Coach [Kevin] Mackey brings a spirit based on hard work and devotion and just talking with Brent Bailey (Gaiters Offensive Coordinator), I felt that program could give me the best four years to develop myself as the best athlete and I wanted to be a part this family,” explained Dupuis of his decision.Β  β€œPracticing with these guys and seeing the hard work just speaks for itself.”

β€œThey are underdogs, soon contenders and I want to be a part of their success!”

Dupuis completed a stint with CEGEP Division 1’s Edouard-Montpetit Lynx.
