CEGEP recruit excited to begin Stingers chapter

Dollard des Ormeaux receiver recenly joins RSEQ team’s 2015 class.

Skylar Bayliff will stay in his home province as he scripts the next chapter in his gridiron journey.

Recently, the 5’10, 180 pound wide receiver/slotback from Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec committed to the Concordia Stingers.Β  Bayliff will join the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.

β€œI chose Concordia immediately after speaking with Coach Mickey Donovan,” recalled the Quebec receiver.Β  β€œI get a feeling of brotherhood and that’s what makes a team successful, knowing that everyone has each other’s backs.”

β€œI believe that attending Concordia will not only make me a better football player, but will provide me with a great education and prepare me for the future. I’m really excited and I can’t wait to begin this next chapter in my life.”

Bayliff recently completed his CEGEP career with Division 2 team, John Abbott College Islanders.Β  This past season, he amassed 689 yards on 40 receptions and scored eight touchdowns.Β  He was named as a CEGEP Division 2 All-Star.
