Defensive lineman joins RSEQ team’s 2016 class
Mickael Badra is ecstatic about the next phase of his gridiron career.
Recently, the 6’1, 210 pound defensive lineman from Bromont, Quebec committed to Bishop’s Gaiters. Ā Badra will join the team for the 2016 RSEQ season.
Overall, Badra likes the direction and promise he saw with the football program, especially with the team’s defensive unit.
“Bishop’s is a programe in expansion and the competetion is becomimg very intense with good recruitment,” explained the defensive standout of his deicsion. Ā “I was warmly welcomed by the coaches during my visits and the school guidance.”
“They offered myself what I was looking for and Bishop’s is a great university . They also say I was a perfect fit on their dĆ©fence which is a system I really liked.”
This past fall, Badra completed his career with CEGEP team, Victoriaville Vulkins. Ā During his career, he has played both the defensive line and linebacker positions.
