CEGEP recruit heading to Winnipeg

St. Hubert offensive lineman recently signs with Hardy Cup Champions

Myles Rose-Standish is about to embark on a new gridiron and academic journey in the Prairies.

Recently, the 6’5, 275 pound offensive lineman from St Hubert, Quebec signed with the University of Manitoba Bisons.  Rose-Standish will join the team for the 2015 CWUAA season.

Overall, it was the uniqueness of the Winnipeg, Manitoba campus as well as the strengths of both the gridiron and academic programs which sold the Quebec standout.

“I chose the University of Manitoba because upon arriving at the university I could sense an atmosphere different than most universities,” elaborated Rose-Standish.  “At the University of Manitoba, everything is provided for you to succeed.”

“There really is no reason to be unsuccessful in school and in football. I wanted a school and a team that could prepare me for my future, in both life and football.”

Rose-Standish comes to the Bisons after completing his CEGEP career with Division 1 team, Champlain-Lennoxville Cougars.
