CEGEP recruit hopes to help revive Redmen

Montreal defensive back newest recruit to join RSEQ team’s 2015 class.

Vie Famara Kujabi believes in Ron Hilaire’s vision.

As a result, the 6’0, 162 pound defensive back (cornerback) from Montreal, Quebec has signed with the McGill Redmen.Β  Kujabi will join the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.

β€œI felt so blessed to have the opportunity to join such a tradition and building something special at the same time,” commented Kujabi of his commitment.Β  β€œThe academic prestige McGill offers was also a huge factor.”

β€œAfter talking to Coach Hilaire (Defensive Coordinator), I knew it was the place for me.Β  I have bought into his mindset and vision. I am looking forward to be part of something unique in the RSEQ.”

Kujabi comes to the Redmen after completing his CEGEP career with Division 3 team, Ahuntsic Indians.Β  This past season, he registered 27 tackles, 21 solo tackles, two tackles for a loss, caught an interception and three batted down balls.

In addition to the Indians, the defensive back has also previously suited up for CEGEP Division 1’s Edouard-Montpetit Lynx and Sun Youth Hornets.
