CEGEP recruit impresed with McGill’s offensive scheme

Delson pivot recently commits to RSEQ team

Nicolas English wants to succeed as a student-athlete at the CIS level.

Recently, the 6’0, 195 pound quarterback from Delson, Quebec felt he could best achieve that goal with the McGill Redmen.  English committed to the Redmen for the 2015 RSEQ season.

“I picked McGill for their spread hurry up offense,” said Nicolas of his decision.   “I played it at Saint-Jean and liked it.”

“Of course, the coaching staff is very experienced. One of the most important things was the school and I found all the resources that I needed to be successful as a STUDENT-athlete at McGill.  Also, it´s a great way to improve on my English knowledge as it’ll be useful for my future.”

The pivot recently completed his CEGEP career with Division 2 team, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Geants.  Previous to the Geants, English suited up for CEGEP Division 1’s Vieux-Montreal Spartiates, LaMagdeleine Diablos and LaPrairie Diablos.
