CEGEP recruit swayed by Bishop’s culture shift

Laval receiver/running back recently joins RSEQ team’s 2015 class.

Trey Wilson Millings wants to be part of a culture change.

Recently, the 6’2, 205 pound receiver/running back from Laval, Quebec signed with the Bishop’s Gaiters. Wilson Millings will join the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.

β€œI have chosen to commit to Bishop’s because I believe that there is an amazing opportunity to be part of something special,” explained the Quebec offensive standout of his decision.Β  β€œFrom meeting with the coaching staff, I realized that they’re in the process of changing the culture around the football team.”

β€œI want to be part of that culture change! There have been major renovations to their sports facility which also played a role in making my decision. Also, the location of Lennoxville is the place to be if you want to live and breathe football. Β Lennoxville is where I learned self-discipline and work ethic.Β  β€œThis place was the best fit for me!”

Wilson Millings recently completed his CEGEP career with Division 1 team, Champlain-Lennoxville Cougars.Β  This past season, he racked up 97 yards on seven carries and 199 yards on 14 receptions as well as two touchdowns.

Previous to the Cougars, the offensive gun suited up for his high school team, RSEQ Juvenile Division 1’s Laval Liberty Panthers.
