CFC #1 chooses Oklahoma Sooners

Neville Gallimore, the #1 ranked prospect on the CFC 100 class 2015 rankings, has just announced he is attending the University of Oklahoma.  He made the announcement during the U.S. Army Bowl, high school all-star game in San Antonio.

The 6-foot-3, 303-pounder made the announcement during Saturday afternoon’s U.S. Army All-American Bowl, placing an OU hat on his head. Ohio State and Florida State were his two other finalists.

“I was very comfortable with my decision,” Gallimore told a national television audience. “Me and my family have high hopes for Oklahoma. They did a great job in terms of involving me and my family, so I chose that school.”

Gallimore is the third defensive lineman to verbal with Oklahoma, joining defensive end Kenneth Mann and defensive tackle Marquise Overton.

National signing day is Feb. 4.

Gallimore, played his high school football at St. Patrick’s (Ottawa) before transferring to prep school in St. Catherines (Canada Prep).
