CFC 100 recruit excited about tough challenge with Rouge et Or

CEGEP linebacker becomes fifth CFC 100 recruit to join RSEQ team’s 2015 class.

On Tuesday, the Laval Rouge et Or landed their fifth CFC 100 recruit.

Cedric Lussier-Roy has committed to the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.  The 6’1, 215 pound linebacker from Sherbrooke, Quebec has two key reasons on why he chose the Rouge et Or.

“I chose Laval because I want to play with the best, because Laval represented a tough challenge for me and this is what I was looking for,” explained the CFC 100 linebacker of his decision.

Lussier-Roy comes to the Rouge et Or after completing his CEGEP career with Division 1 team, Champlain-Lennoxville Cougars.  This past season, recorded three sacks and registered 41 tackles in eight games.

With the CEGEP linebacker’s commitment, the Rouge et Or have five CFC 100 recruits.  In addition to Lussier-Roy, defensive back Marc-Antoine Ouellet, quarterback Samuel Chenard as well as offensive lineman Samuel Thomassin and Pierre-Karl Lanctot has also signed with the RSEQ team.
