Why Write for CFC?
Created in 2010, Canadafootballchat.com has grown to become the number one source for Canadian high school football rankings, and producers of the CFC Prospect Game on TSN. This is a great opportunity for writers looking to build their portfolio and network with football coaches, prospects, journalists and administrators from across the country. We are willing to work with seasoned writers who are motivated to advance their careers, or new writers that are ready to learn and contribute to the Canadian football community.
Writers will receive the chance to cover high school football prospects on a weekly basis, plus participate in our coverage of the CFC Prospect Game on TSN, CFC Youth Game presented by Fox 40 and Fox 40 Prospect Challenge.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a remote environment and meet deadlines on a weekly basis
- Dedicate time to write 3-10 articles per week
- Creative drive to help pitch new story ideas and execute
- Passion for Canadian football at the grassroots level
- Previous professional writing experience is an asset but not required
