Class of 2027 DL Marshall Garofalo out of CitΓ©-des-Jeunes in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, carries the kind of confidence you usually hear from players who have spent years waiting for somebody to finally notice them. He believes the CFC Prospect Game on TSN might be that moment.
Garofalo does not talk like somebody chasing hype. He talks like somebody who has spent years putting in work behind the scenes while waiting for an opportunity to prove himself against the countryβs best. The Quebec defensive lineman has played his entire football career with the Citadins program, growing alongside teammates and coaches who helped shape his approach to the game. Along the way he earned recognition for his academics, his consistency, and his willingness to do the little things coaches ask for every day.
But underneath all that is a player who genuinely loves physical football. That part becomes obvious quickly.
Long before organized football entered the picture, Garofalo was already the kid turning every backyard game into a contact sport. Soccer, frisbee, tag, it did not matter. The physical side always drew him in, which is why football immediately felt natural once he finally started playing in 2022. Then came the atmosphere, the locker room culture, and the brotherhood that made the sport become something much bigger than just competition.
Now he heads to Hamilton believing he belongs.
