That mindset has followed Earnest since his early days with the Cambridge Lions and Flight Club, long before national showcases and prep football entered the picture. Football started as something new to try, but over time the sport became something much deeper. The intensity, the competition, the brotherhood, and especially the process of improving every day are what hooked him.

There is also a maturity to how he talks about development. While some players focus entirely on rankings or offers, the Clarkson Football North lineman talks about preparation, consistency, and earning success through the work done behind the scenes. That mentality helped him become MVP of an OSFL championship game in 2022 and later win the York Rose Bowl in 2025 with Clarkson Football North.

The fact he is only a Class of 2029 prospect makes the trajectory even more intriguing.
