AcadΓ©mie Saint-Louis Arsenal (0-2) vs SΓ©minaire Saint-FranΓ§ois Blizzard (2-0)

The AcadΓ©mie Saint-Louis could not stop the powerful Blizzard offence. The SΓ©minaire Saint-FranΓ§ois offence is headed by QB RaphaΓ«l Latulippe, who had an average game with 5 out of 10 for 104 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception, but RB Kalenga Muganda had a great day with 13 carries for 139 yards and a touchdown. The Blizzard defence kept the Arsenal to one touchdown and 296 yards total offence for another convincing win of 43-7.

Γ‰cole Secondaire Roger-Comtois Patriotes (0-1) vs Γ‰cole Secondaire Triolet Harfangs (1-1)

The Patriotes were a little rusted and the Harfangs took advantage with an impressive showing on offence. Led by QB/RB #5 Lukas Boulanger who completed 13 of 27, 3 touchdowns passes and a total of 308 yards, also rushing for 70 yards and a rushing touchdown. Three of his passes landed in the end zone and his targets were Gabriel Boulanger who only had 4 catches for 126 yards, averaging 31.5 yards per catch, Mathieu Bernard with 5 catches for 90 yards and William Legault who had only a 73 yard catch for a major. The defence had a rough day with the Patriotes running game led by RB Vincent Richard, 22 carries for 165 yards and a major, Gabriel Auclair, 15 carries for 81 yards and a major, Gabriel Savard, 15 carries for 58 yards and a major. The Harfangs got the best of the Patriotes 34-7.

Collège Notre-Dame Cactus (2-0) vs Académie Les Estacades (0-2)

The Estacades offence strugged and the defence could not stop the Cactus RB ThΓ©odore Seaborn who cumulated 121 yards on 24 carries, a touchdown and the Cactus offence finished with 23 points on the board. The Cactus defence was impenetrable and Thomas Peschlow made sure the Estacades didn’t score with two picks of his own for a total of three interceptions for the Cactus keeping the AcadΓ©mie to a mere 2 points.

Collège Jean-Eudes Aigles (1-1) vs École Secondaire Curé-Antoine-Labelle Loups (1-1)

The Loups offence came out like a pack should and surprised the Aigles defence. The Aigles’ QB Arnaud Desjardins had another good day completing 23 out of 37 for 320 yards, 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. The CurΓ©-Antoine-Labelle defence enabled the Loups’ offence to get the ball back enough times to capitulate on opportunities to score a sufficient number of points to come away with a 35-28 win.

Γ‰cole Secondaire Saint-Stanislas Patriotes (1-0) vs Polyvalente Deux-Montagnes Centurions (0-2)

The Patriotes were off last week and it showed in their convincing win over the Centurions who are having a tough beginning of season. This 48-13 win for the Patriotes, who just moved up in this division, is a great start to prove that they are contenders.

Collège Laval Maraudeurs (2-0) vs École Secondaire Jacques-Rousseau Sphinx (0-2)

The defending champions had a great game with a shut-out and a domination of the Sphinx who could only muster 94 total yards on offence. The Maraudeurs’ offence was difficult to stop with QB Jonathan SΓ©nΓ©cal completing 21 out of 26 forΒ 296 yards and 6 touchdown passes and the defence was relentless, for an impressive win of 42-0.

École Secondaire Armand-Corbeil Scorpions (2-0) vs Collège Charles-Lemoyne Dynamiques (1-1)

The Scorpions had an amazing day on offence with the almost perfect play of QB Justin Leduc who completed 10 out of 11 passes for 238 yards, throwing 3 touchdown passes and scoring a rushing touchdown to come away with a 26-18 victory. The Armand-Corbeil RB duo rumbled over the Dynamiques defence with DantΓ© Tortoricci rushing for 102 yards on 13 carries and Mathieu Vachon for 100 yards on 17 carries to convince everybody that they are contenders.

Collège de Lévis Commandeurs (1-1) vs Séminaire Saint-Joseph Vert et Or (2-0)

The Vert et Or QB/RB slasher, Charles Cossette, had a great day completing 17 out of 27 for 244 yards, 3 touchdown passes, 11 carries for 87 yards and a rushing major to help his team win 30-24. Even though the Commandeurs offence scored 24 points, the Collège de Lévis was unable to control Cossette.
