CFC10 Non-public RANKINGS (5): Clarkson FN wins big down south, St. Mike’s take down tough CFC50 Huron Heights

Clarkson evened their record at 2-2 with a win over the Erie Royals.  The back and forth affair ended in a 42-28 victory for the visitors.  CFC100 Brendan Barrow went off in a big way with 4 touchdown runs (11, 66, 44, 44 yards respectively) and ended the day with 321 yards on 32 carries and 2 receptions for 19 yards for 340 total yards.  Clarkson ended the contest with 445 yards on the ground, led by an offensive line filled with CFC100 players.  Clarkson travels to Cleveland to play the Lorain Titans this Friday.

St Joe’s lost their fourth in a row to the Lorain Titans.  The athleticism of the Titans could not be contained by the St Joe’s defense.  A mistake filled offensive outing only compounded the defensive issues.  St Joe’s has a bye this week.

Royal Imperial had a bye this past week.  The upcoming week they travel to Cincinnati to play the La Salle Lancers.

St. Michael’s College got the ‘W’ this weekend against CFC50 ranked Huron Heights Warriors with a final score of 25-22. The Warriors played a game riddled with penalties that cost them 200 yards of field position. They also had 5 fumbles in the first half which aided in the Kerry Blue’s road to victory. St. Mike’s will match up against St. Andrew’s College this weekend. 

On the losing end of a 34-20 score against Catholic Central in London, Upper Canada College will work this week to prepare for the Trinity College Bears this upcoming weekend.

Game Recap: St. Andrew’s College

St. Andrew’s College came away with a 42-6 win against the Crestwood Mustangs on Monday afternoon. CFC100 quarterback, Dylan Tabone, threw for 4 touchdowns and had over 300 passing yards on the day. He also produced on the ground with over 100 yards. Rookie Nate Falconi did his work with over 100 both in receptions and rushing to go along with 2 touchdowns and receiver Neebesh Elliott also had to touchdown receptions. Receiver Bill Starke finished the day with one 80 yard touchdown reception. SAC’s offensive line controlled the line of scrimmage from start to finish. Defensively, linebackers Will Abbott and Christian MacDougall played “sideline to sideline” with some other newcomers making an impact. SAC will face the St. Michael’s Kerry Blues on Saturday at 3:30pm.

About #CFC10 Non-Public Rankings

The #CFC10 Non-Public rankings are high schools that are not public schools and/or who do not play in Canadian public school leagues. The rankings include and consider all conference and non-conference games. Non-public teams who play in Canadian public leagues will be considered in the #CFC50 high school rankings. All players must be enrolled in the public or private school for it to be considered a school team and eligible for these rankings. Private schools must have a ministry of education identification number to be considered.

All USA scores must be approved by MaxPreps and opponents must be a VARSITY team. Competitions that MaxPreps does not consider games, like scrimmages and showcases, will not be considered. USA team rankings change as the year progresses and this will be considered and updated in these rankings. The rankings are published Tuesday mornings (unless holiday).
